My Story
I had heard about Scentsy several years ago, but I was so attached to my candles at the time, that it was hard to think of choosing something else. I've been in school for awhile now, and i set the tone of my studying. Turn the lamp on, on my desk, get my books, make sure my coffee is hot, and my candle is lit. It was something that I just did. Until I caught my cat on fire.
Yes, that tone was set, that coffee was hot, that candle was lit, and my cat woke up from his nap (on the desk where I study), turned around, and his tail was right over the lit candle, engulfed in flames. I was picking up a pen off the floor, I thought he was still asleep. He wasn't. My eyes got big, and could feel myself start to panic. I knew if I did, he could leap off the desk and run away. I was able to put the fire out, and thankfully, he's ok. WHEW!!
I didn't know what else to use after that. I got rid of all my candles. Then a friend of mine told me about Scentsy and that she had an extra warmer she could give me. I LOVED it the first time I used it. She gave me some of the scents that she had, and I've been hooked ever since.
Since I attend school online, I thought this would be a cool way to meet new friends, who also would enjoy this product with me. One thing I have noticed about Scentsy, is that some of the fragrances make me think of past memories. I'll say, "Hold on, that smells like the bubble gum I used to trade with other kids on the bus in elementary school!" It's been interesting to find different memories within these scents. :)
